Arizona new-home builders & ROC numbers

Look up major production builders by brand, legal entity, and publicly reported Registrar of Contractors license numbers — then verify live status on the official ROC search.

Directory

30 major Arizona builders

Curated for new-build homeowners — not every licensed contractor in the state. Sales brands and legal licensee names often differ; start with the entity on your purchase agreement.

How to use this directory

  1. Find the brand you bought from, then match the legal entity on your purchase or warranty documents.
  2. Copy the ROC number into the official ROC contractor search and confirm status, classification, and recent complaint summary.
  3. Remember closed complaints generally age out of the public view after about two years from case close (per ROC FAQ materials) — a quiet public file is not a lifetime clean sheet.
  4. Calendar your month-11 limited-warranty checkpoint and the two-year ROC window from close of escrow or occupancy, whichever comes first.

This is not a complete roster of every Arizona-licensed contractor. Production builders often use multiple legal entities and licenses. Confirm the entity and ROC number on your purchase/warranty documents against the live ROC contractor search. License status changes; treat listed numbers as research starting points, not proof of current good standing. Brand marketing names (Risewell, Brightland, Del Webb, etc.) often differ from the ROC legal entity. Previous brand names listed under a builder are for research continuity after acquisitions or rebrands — always match the legal GC on your packet.
